Most of you know that Macerata, some twenty minutes from the Villa plays host to fantastic operas during the summer in the open air theatre, the spectacular ’Sferisterio’. For 2006 the festival runs from 28th July to 13th August. You could even enjoy the local performances that take place in hilltop towns during the weekly festivals.
