Guided visits to Towns and Cities in Le Marche

Imagine the scenario, you are on holiday at Villa Sibillini, you have your hire car but don’t fancy the challenge of driving into Macerata, finding a parking space and then finding the best sites and venues in the town. Or how about a day trip to Treia or Ancona - nice lunch without worrying about parking or having to drive back after sampling some fine Marche wine.

You may not wish to hire a car at all during your stay.

Villa Sibillini is offering a transport service by car or mini bus to any major town or city, even San Marino. The service will be available day or night to see the beauty spots within Marche or simply provide you with transport to a fine restaurant or some designer shopping.

Prices will of course vary depending on the location you wish to visit, the number of passengers and the number of guides needed. For a half day shopping trip the cost would be 70€ per person, for longer journeys or late night journeys prices will vary. SHOPPING

Why not treat yourself and a group of friends to a trip to Marche? Take advantage of the Ryan Air offers, come to the factory shops and fabulous markets . There are outlets for shoes, handbags and wallets, excellent pottery and glass as well as the opportunity to browse through the many local markets. We can organise a guide for you if you need any help or put together routes to help you find the Tods factory or Genny,Prada & Byblos. Please email for further details.

THE BATTLE OF FORNARINA - SAN GINESIO End of July 2009 (date to be announced)

Book now to see the spectacular Battle of Fornarina - soldiers and the army of San Ginesio defend the town against the soldiers from Fermo. This is a beautifully staged event with incredibe costumes and rousing music.

THE PALLIO - SAN GINESIO  August 2009

The Pallio of San Ginesio is a medieval pageant with authentic costumes, drummers and representations of the Royal families of the town. After the parade there is jousting before the lower piazza is turned into an outdoor restaurant for the feast.

NB Our swimming pool is normally open from May to September but there is a local indoor pool in the nearby town of Sarnano.
